OK, so here it is almost a month later! I know, I know, not very consistant am I? sigh But I have a couple, well 4 pictures to post of my weekend activities! DD#1, Jamie, asked if I would make Halloween costumes for her 3 (step)daughters so like a good momma, I said yes. I posted some pictures of them. The oldest Hailey (14) is going to be an angel, Braxtayn (11) is going to be Selina Gomez, and Whitney (9) is going to Hannah Montana. Then tomorrow a.m. early I will fly to Southern California to visit a high school friend with DD#2, Megan, and DGD#1 Kristen and so I made me a Mischievous gnome messenger bag. It was fun to do and quick!!!!
Next post should have pictures of Disneyland, Sea World and our whale watching excursion!

This is a recipe from my Aunt Lauretta. She would make this is in the fall with fresh dill seeds, but since I don't grow dill, I used the dried stuff that comes in a jar. I am sure that the fresh seed would make this yummy bread taste even better! Enjoy

Dilly Bread

Dilly Bread

Sprinkle 1 pkg dry yeast over 1/4 cup of warm water (110-115 degrees) Heat to lukewarm 1 cup large curd cream style cottage cheese.

In a bowl add to cottage cheese

1 T instant minced onions
1 T butter
2 tsp dill seeds
1 tsp salt
yeast water
1/4 tsp baking soda

Stir mixture

Add a little flour at a time 2 1/4 - 2 1/2 cups
Beat well after each addition
Cover and let rise until double - 50-60 minutes
Stir down with 25 vigorous strokes and turn into well greased loaf pan, or 1 1/2 qt round pan or 1 1/2 qt. casserole

Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
Today is September 18, 2008 and here I am again. I have added three pictures of the newest branch on the Wilde tree. The first is the night she was born, the second is Mikaya and her Mommie on March 14, and the last was last week on September 12th, the day before Mikaya turned months old. She is with her Mommie and her doctor, Lauri Palmer. Aren't they just really cute? I will be adding pictures from the between months sometime soon.
